Stowe Wine & Food Classic

Stowe Wine & Food Classic, Stowe Vermont

The organizers of this amazing wine festival/fundraiser contacted me to help them update their website for this year’s event. The site needed a number of updates, including a change to the header, some new pages, a flash movie, and embedded video. The festival organizers also wanted to develop a social networking campaign, so I created a Facebook page and a Twitter profile and helped them market their event through social media channels. The Social Media activity resulted in some great press, including a key feature piece in the Wall Street Journal. The end result was a highly successful event!

Dale E. Percy, Inc.

Dale E. Percy, Stowe Vermont

Dale E. Percy, Inc. is a local family-owned excavation company with over 60 years of service under their belt. They had had a website for quite some time, but it was difficult to navigate, and they really wanted something more modern and clean. I sat down with Meghan and went over what her ideal website would include. Meghan wanted the color scheme to stay true to the red and yellow that Percy’s used on all their trucks and equipment. She had tons of photos, and mentioned a few times how much she loved the ones of the dump trucks. Meghan also wanted to include an aggregate calculator that she could direct people to when they called asking how much material they would need for a project.

The result was a new site built using the Thesis framework for Wordpress, with a clean design and a header that showcased the dump trucks that Meghan loved. The aggregate calculator in the sidebar is available on every page, and the red & yellow color scheme is exactly what Percy’s wanted.

What the client said:

“WOW!!!!!  Lisa this looks amazing! I love the header as well! Thank you for your work!  This is such a great site!”  — Meghan Percy
